sorry that link was on the top left of the page at ppckitchen.org, or you can do to ppckitchen.org/forums and click the Live Support on the top right of the links bar- that will get you into chat too.

You can get the 2.40 unlocker from the following link- Olipro 2.40

then if you follow my guide exactly you will end up with your device unlocked and you can flash any rom to it after that- either stock rom or custom. heres a link to the unlocking guide again-

ok it says that there was a error 290 n i followed the directions to fix it
so it did n continued with the update
then it had the error again...
i followed the directions n again
now it's tryin to update the rom again

guess ill let u kno on how that goes

hmm, never seen an error 290 before. was that with the unlocker or the Alltel rom flash? if it gives you any more info on it please post that too, not sure what would cause that to happen.

I dont know how you have your USB cable plugged in but if possible plug it in the back of the computer. that will eliminate any problems with bad connection errors in ActiveSync.

it was with the alltel rom flash the one frm htc
no change to phone still says
