The signal handles claims for USCC.
Denial of claims is The Signals discression, some of the reasons are:
-Lying that is caught either by USCC rep or the Signal Associate
-Negligent damage (i.e. if you throw your phone in anger)
-Bodily secretion (if you cry, sweat, pee, or puke on your phone, it is deemed negligent by The Signal and not allowed to be claimed)
-Physical damage without explaination. If you break it by accident you must know the accident.
There's more, some of the fine print even talks about denying claims in the event of civil war I believe.
One last note, there is NO limit on insurance claims. If you file validly and pay the $50 claim for moisture or physical damage you can claim as many as you'd like. The catch is you have to keep with the $5.95 a month, pay the $50 on each phone, and eventually they will look deeper into your claims. They may even start requiring to have the phone in hand for inspection before they approve the claim.
