I've experienced this same thing Robb. It get's very frustrating not being able to free up more than single digit ram(i too tried all the mem management progs, they didn't help).

Just curious, do you have HTC Home loaded?

That's seems to be common to most window mobile devices. Gwes.exe, device.exe and other will continue to get larger with continued use until you perform a soft-reset.
