And the chief differences in unlocking both types of radios are:
1) CDMA devices have no SIM cards as they're activated by ESN only, but the only way to unlock a CDMA PDA is to HSPL for custom ROMs.
2)GSM devices use SIM cards as opposed to CDMA devices. Those are the ones you unlock in however way you want to use with any SIM card.
