Re: Is there a way to disable the Phone Turnoff "Feature" when the battery is low?

I fail to see how your battery dies when charging. It sounds like a faulty charger, like JustRay said. The only thing I have seen that kills a battery while charging is using the wi-fi and EVDO data at the same time like WMWifiRouter.

Good feature, stops your phone from blowing up.

What rom are you running? there is a 1% battery hack so the phone reads the level more accurate.

Even though the battery is charging, the phone doesn't detect it right away. It has to increase the battery charge by 1% before the phone realizes that it is indeed charging. Until that one percent increase, it still assumes its losing a charge at the same rate.

Re: Is there a way to disable the Phone Turnoff "Feature" when the battery is low?

I don't know whether I have an "OEM" car charger or not. I have the one that the Sprint store sold me. I assume it is OEM.. It says sprint all over it! I was informed that I could use any USB charger. When I went back to the service center asking about this, they showed me their display model connected to a Motorola charger. They weren't aware of the issue and suggested I leave my phone with them which I wasn't able to do. It will not charge if you're talking on it. That seems to be a defect.

Has anyone asked Sprint or HTC about this? If so, what is their official position? I'm ready to ask them for a 6700 back because, despite being large enough to make a formidable weapon, it worked the way a business tool should.
