Guys, you're making this much harder than it is.

In your phone, go to settings ---> connections --> usb to pc

Disable advanced networking

That's it. Syncing should no longer be an issue. Just remember that you will have to do that again after a new ROM flash.

I believe he has already tried that....I could be wrong though....sometimes that does not work for Vista.....it is very flaky as I said.....

Tried it sorry.

Edit: I just tried it again. However I managed to kill wmplayer.exe since my hard drive was busy and it worked fine.

That is not it if you have Vista 32bit.....I ran it in mine quite some time ago with no sync problems.....no more than the usual......Vista with WMDC sucks flat out....works sometimes and sometimes not.....

Ok now I flashed the 5069-k NUE ROM and it works! It must have been an odd duck bug with 5066. Thanks!
