What happened to Hotmail?

Mine stopped working about 3 days ago out of the blue... I just now updated the rom to the latest stock rom that came with the newest 10.6.0034.0800 and it still doesn't work.

Just getting the "problems with server" error.

alrighty... apparently this occurs when you get an e-mail that contains some html/links etc.

I remembered exactly when mine stopped working, and for me it stopped working right around 08/04/2008. I got mine working again as soon as I deleted 2 e-mail(s) I had from skyfire. I deleted the following e-mails I had from Skyfire:

Skyfire: Beta 0.6 download now available
&
Skyfire: Windows Beta 2 confirmation


As soon as these two e-mails were in the trash can, or in a folder that doesn't sync to my Titan, hotmail started downloading all the e-mails again.

I hope this helps anyone that was having a problem, as I assume a lot of you probably have the Skyfire or other html type e-mails in your hotmail.

I am running the latest version of Windows Live 10.6.0034.0800 and have this issue. It start a few days ago. Microsoft had me install a .cab to fix it but it did not work. I think this issue is with my Hotmail account because I can get some one else's account to sync fine with my phone.


I cleaned out my Inbox so I have no messages in it and I still get "There is a problem with the server. Please try again later. Failed to synchronize Inbox" message.

the old phones needs to be off, while and old phone using hotmail be on the new activated home will not recognized by the server. it works with me

OK I GOT IT!!!!!

Get on hotmail on your computer and move the contents of your Inbox to a new folder. Then sync your phone. I actually recreated my account on my phone. Once you successfully sync then you can move your emails back to your Inbox and re-sync. It work for me and I hope it works for anyone else having this issue.

THIS WAS THE PROBLEM, as soon as I deleted the SkyFire Emails my MSN account works again...My Email was down for 3 days....Now up and running. Not only did Skyfire not send me the text to download the program, it screwed up my email, great service.

i have had this same problem for days now. i have flashed 3 new roms and that .0800 (fixed) cab to try to fix it. turns out all i had to do was delete 1 worthless email and everything would be fine. thank you cyclical.

I just deleted everything i dont need in my inbox... still no sync. Anyone else have a solution to this problem?

this started happening to me about 1 1/2 months ago.

I still have not found a solution. Tried everything - deleted emails, logged in and out on live, different email accounts etc. Still doesn't work consistently.
Occassionally, it would work for a few hours then stops working again.
Its really pissing me off.
