Have you disabled auto-complete? This slows down my typing a lot and since I never use it theres no reason to keep it enabled. I'm faster just typing things out then running spell check later. Auto-complete causes it to lag a lot because its pooling stored words to decide what you are trying to say.

hun, i did that and still the keys lag, I am about to trash this phone, I am not the only person with these issues at this point

how do you disable it? I have tried disabling it with the cab and no good, I have looked at the entry in the registry but do not know how to disable it

Go to settings - input - Word Completion; Then uncheck the suggest words box at the top

start...settings...personal...input...word completion...uncheck then click on clear stored entries
