okay my bad lol, im sorry it took so long to get back with you, had to work lol. i double checked and go to wmwifirouter (program) DO NOT CONNECT yet, hit options tab, configuration, then on the bottom is cellular connection, make sure the checkmark is next to sprintpcs and not phone as modem, ta-da lol if you connect you cant enter the configure area of the options menu thats why i capped that up there.

Just pay for the software, it will be worth it in the long run -- trust me.

Re: WiFiRouter not working

really lol wmwifirouter is definetly worth it. when i would tether via usb, my laptop would pop up "local connection 10 Mbps" (mega bits) now via wmwifi, it pops up "connected to rdd0512 54 Mbps" thats 5x faster.

Uhhmm... I hope you know that those values don't matter. 10Mbps is MUCH higher than any speed you'll get on you phone. That is the value of the LAN - Local Area Network, or those that are also connected to the router. It is by no means your internet speed.

The times it would make a difference are when you are transferring files from your computer to someone that is also connected to your phone.
