sometimes I get lag when writing texts...
Whats seems to work for me and I know it probably does nothing just seems like it does..Is tap the screen in the area your text is showing up in.. Im confused how that would even do anything but it really seems to make mine better..Just sucks that I gotta do it before I start texting...Its almost like second nature now for me.

The leaner your phone the better. The less the CPU and RAM are busy doing other things the better it will run typing. Part of the reason it lags when you first start typing is because it has to load up the entire texting window. Try disabling threaded texting and see if it is faster.

my p and o weren't workin very well so i took it to the store and they said i have water damage and have to pay the deductable
