I've seen several posted, but have not personally been afflicted with this issue. I believe there is a cab file out there somewhere that offers a solution.

I was under the impression that the two were related. The keyboard would lag, and then when it caught up, would have dupicate keystrokes. Perhaps I got them confused. My apologies.

The only few things I've found are to employ the speed registry hacks, go to a nice no2chem WM 6.1, keep memory free, and clear text messages frequently.

I'm not sure that this has been officially acknowledged by HTC or any providers but it seems to be a widespread issue for end users.

While the "hard presses" for Function, Q and P seem to be a physical problem many users have reported that using the following CAB fixes the duplicate entries.

i have just made a post about this, I so understand it sucks, I dont like emptying my text boxes, I dont have a duplicate problem, just laggy typing

i had the problem with no2chems pre 8 with dcds latest its fast as lightning.
