Re: how to get a new mogul
Ok, so I am a Sprint Employee. Im here to tell you, if you have insurance on your phone, Total Equipment Protection (TEP) not just (ESRP) Equipment Service and Repair. Expect to be advised, directed, or rcomended to either go to a full service repair center where Techs will attempt to fix and repair your device or contact Asurion, where a non refundable 50.00 deductible is required either billed to account or required up front. The only time you MIGHT, MAYBE!!!!! get a free phone is if its a Manufacture defect, device still under 12 month warranty without water damage, or you luck up and find one on the street. TEP unfortunelty does not cover cosmetic damage. sorry to be the annoying customer service reps we've come to love so much! ^_^!

Re: how to get a new mogul
I tell them (these are real) I have to realign my screen every couple of days or it freezes or other eratic things that cant be duplicated ez. usually they hard reset and tell me to come back if that doesnt fix it. most of all be nice and patient-pissed off fixes nothing.

Re: how to get a new mogul
I dropped my mogul into the water at the beach and now the screen and keyboard don't work. Will this be covered under the insurance?
|
Re: how to get a new mogul
if it fell in the water youur best bet is to "lose" it and pay the 50 dollar deductible.

Re: how to get a new mogul
Whenever I break a phone, which tends to be a couple times a year, I just report it lost or stolen. Pay the $50 insurance claim. Get a new phone and sell the busted one on ebay as a parts phone. Break even usually AND get a new phone. Sha HA!
Just did this with my Mogul about a week ago. It broke in two, but the hell with giving it up. All parts are still good. anybody wanna buy it for the LCD, keyboard, etc? |
