Re: Problem with Sound Notifications

Thank you guys for confirming the same or similar problem(s). It is less frustrating to know this isn't exclusive to my mogul only.

Now then, any clues on how to fix? I haven't played much with the settings, so maybe its there or a reg tweak could fix?

Do you have a Touch or Mogul? I am not sure what could be causing yours...

But the Opera Beta is definitely causing my notification issue. So for now until it is fixed I just make sure I check my notifications after using Opera.

Re: Problem with Sound Notifications

I have the same problem with my touch and I have no idea what that opera stuff is! I have found that when I try to set multiple mp3s as different notifications (i.e sms and ringtone) then the notification turns off for the sms after about 2 minutes.

Yep, same here! I will also use Opera Mini. I just checked and it doesn't do that with your sound notifications. At least the Beta version wasn't turning off your phone ringer. It's bad enough missing texts, etc., but missing a phone call would really piss me off

Mogul, and it seems they work fine for a while after a soft rest. Then as the day goes on, they just stop.....I have flashed the official HTC ROM at least 3 times now. Hard reset before, hard reset after. That cleared up all the other little bugs, and issues. But the working on minute, not the next, email, missed call, and voicemail notifications are still there.
Thanks
