Re: Titan USB to Plasma TV

I've viewed video using Mymoblier on a PC while playing around. The video is choppy with a high frame drop; not unexpected. I also have an iPod, with a little video-out dock. It's a much better option for small mobile to TV. Problem there is that the videos must be converted to a compatible format, which takes time, a lot of time if you want any decent resolution...

Re: Titan USB to Plasma TV

Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't the Titan equipped with usb 1.1? If that's right, you got a whooping 1.5 mb/s (theoretical) of bandwidth to work with (1/70 of what you get out of a hard drive and about 1/10 the bandwidth you get out of a dvd rom). Nothing you could stream from the titan would be worth looking at on a 42" plasma edtv or hdtv.

Also, if you're streaming from USB, more then likely the tv itself would need a video processer to decode what you're shooting over to it. I'd also think you'd need an o/s of some sort that was intelligent enough to know there are files on the other end of that usb cable.

Just my opinion though.

Re: Titan USB to Plasma TV

Just sneak in a small computer and watch TV that way. If Internet is a problem just tether with her phone.
