I'm having the same problem with a replacement Mogul. I'm trying to update the ROM and it wont even recognize the phone in 5 different computers. Did a hard reset, unchecked the box about ENABLE ADVANCED NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY, reinstalled activesync and nothing. What gives, if anything I have to get another.

Ok I had this same problem after upgrading my 6800 to WM6.1 and THIS WAS THE FIX!!! I've searched for hours and finally found this thread.

Seems like this advanced network option is checked by default on a flash on Verizon's stock WM 6.1 maybe?

Anyway.... big thanks! =D>
