Can't get out of SPL-2.07 Bootloader Screen - Page 2

I can't load an older ROM because the bootloader is 2.07. I can't run a newer ROM because the bootloader is 2.07. I wish there was some way I could just wipe the whole damn thing and reset it back to an earlier bootloader, but apparently this is not possible.

are you flashing with active sync or are you flashing with your sd card?

2.07 is the re-locker you need to use this....nueSPL-2.47

Also if you cannot exit the BL....search for MTTY program I have not use it in a long time.....cant remeber the exact settings to exit BL......I belive it is set 16 and then set 32....but search to be sure because set 14 keeps sticking in my head for some reason.....search here and over at XDA....

Also you will need this to fully disable AS on PC.....

The MTTY program worked! AND, I was able to change the boot loader to nueSPL-2.47! However, any time the device resets, it gets stuck in the boot loader screen.

The only way to get it to load the OS is to use MTTY. This isn't particularly practical, so I think I'm going to exchange the device for once that works as it should!

when using mtty, activesync usb connections needs to be disabled.

try installing ROM from SD card

i found these two things to work well for me.

I gave him the diasable AS and it also says itin the instructions on the thread...

But yes you should try flashing from the SD card before turning it in...

It isn't a ROM issue though... It's a 'won't get out of bootloader' issue. It seems to do it no matter which ROMs are loaded. You can force the OS to boot with MTTY, but the phone won't boot past the bootloader screen on its own.

From what I've been reading this appears to be a problem with a certain number of early phones. Since this phone had WM5 on it, I am going to guess it's one of those early ones. Also, this was a refurbished phone, so...

I would do a an exchange then.....it does sound like an OS problem.....

Try flashing a custom rom since you have nuespl on there now - it might fix your issues.... You can flash from sd card too - I would recommend you download nuerom 2.2 pre 8 and name it TITAIMG.nbh and put it on your sd card and when it starts in bootloader it should prompt you to flash.....

also, maybe what you are trying but are u using the 'set 16 0' command ? cause thats the correct one for the mogul/titan/6800

info on ur problem.

i can actually say ive never heard of a case where it will exit the bootloader with mtty but everytime u soft reset it goes right back to bootloader. Get it loaded up and return that *****.
