GPS on with Cellular off

Is there a way to turn off the Cellular radio buut leave the GPS on. I want to be able to turn off the radio when im hiking so it does not burn up the battery roaming.

Just go into Airplane mode (hold down the red end button for a while or use the comm mananger.) They use the GPS.

I do it when I am geocaching.

Kevank is right, it does work when the radio is in flight mode (radio off).

If you do a reset while it's in flight mode then GPS won't work until it's brought out of Flight mode.

I believe there is a registry hack to change this.

I'll verify that this works. It is fun to use while flying. I boot up iGuidance and switch to the sat status page which provides speed and altitude.

I have verified this. it does work on the Mogul with ROM 3.35. thanks HTC for using a GPSOne chip!!!

I could not get it to work with tom tomtom but maybe it will work with garmin which i have not tried yet but on 20226 tomtom it just tells me all radios are diabled
