Re: Problem with internet sharing on WM 6.1

Ok, So I am having the GAYEST time with wm wifi router, and even just strait USB tethering.

Can some one please give me steps for doing this?

For Wifi router, I installed the ICS or whatever .cab, but when I run wifi router says it is waiting on ICS forever. So then it won't work.

When I tether it, I installed the "tethering" fix cab from Smartphonejunkie.com and then hit internet sharing, and it does nothing. Says it is identifying, yet on my phone it says it is connected....?

What am I doing wrong? I have looked through all the posts and just can't seem to put it together...Thanks everyone who helps!

Re: Problem with internet sharing on WM 6.1

If you have the latest version of WMWifirouter (1.25) the procedure for tethering is:

1. make sure hardware wifi switch is off
2. do not attach USB cable
3. start WMWifiRouter
4. from connect menu select "Cellular to USB"
5. wait until you see "Ready" and "waiting for connection"
6. attach USB cable
7. screen will say "connected"
8. surf
