Re: Red LED is all I get now...
Check your battery connections are clean. Clean them with a bit of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol on a qtip and let the phone sit for a few minutes. Then put the battery back in and try charging it again. If you still don't get it to work, you may very well have a brick and you're going to find out just how stupid it was to not pay the 7/mo for the insurance.
People really need to learn not to buy 550 dollar phones without the insurance...

Re: Red LED is all I get now...
It sounds as if it didn't charge properly. When you plugged it in were you using the computers usb to charge, or were you using the actual charger? Which ever method you used, try using the other. Also try with both batteries. Keep in mind, it may take a while for the red light to change back to amber. You won't be able to use the phone while it has a red light either. Even if it's plugged in.
If this doesn't help, sign into my sprint, on sprints website, and add insurance. Wait a couple of days, and make a claim. |

Re: Red LED is all I get now...
Even if you don't have insurance you might be able to get it replaced since there is usually a 1 year warranty on phones. Take it to a sprint store and plead your case...
Don't try to add insurance after the fact, it won't work.... |
