Re: A better mp3 player for mogul?

Shavkat, I've updated the drivers but I've got some incompatability issue with them, my phone will lock up when getting a call or text. I've isolated it to the WOW driver (after a day of installing all combos of the progs I use daily). The lockup doesn't happen immediately so it was a bit difficult to deduce what caused it but without the WOW driver all is good and stable for my 5067 n2c build. I'm running the latest radio, the leaked one, I can't recall the number...

Bottom line GSPlayer gives me back what I lost and it seems like less of a battery drain than TCPMP as I listened to my MP3's for a good 4 hours and my batt was still at 50% before bed where it would be lower than that usually. Of course YMMV...

Personally I use Audio Manager. Easy to use. Looks nice. Gets the job done.

Re: A better mp3 player for mogul?

CorePlayer Mobile is the best I've been able to find for any audio or video. (I have ver 1.2.4)
Only trouble is in ANY program with big playlists, and I have streaming playlists, which are even worse.

Any Ideas on a better streaming music player would be very much aappreciated? I have over 50GB worth of music on mp3tunes. Download to mobile as .asx or .mp3 files but the url playlists are soooo freakin slow.

How about 3.5 mm headphone adaptors. Looking for a wire-type one. I've googled around and found a few, just wanted to see if one is favored over others. Thanks!

I use the stock usb and headphone splitter that caame in the box. I also went to Radio Shack and got a 2.5"-->3.5" headphone adapter (make sure you test it... I got the one with 3 stripes on the male pin).
This way I don't run the battery down while it's plugged into my car stereo.

Re: A better mp3 player for mogul?

Do these mp3 players work in the background when you shut the light off. I know you cant do it with the regular windows media player. Pocket Tunes does it. Works great but its not FREE

My only problem with Audio manager is that it doesn't hold it's place after a call, returning to the beginning of the file. This isn't a big problem with music, but is frustrating for podcasts. I was using Coreplayer but it's a bit of a RAM pig (Pocketplayer is too). Pocketmusic showed promise but also "forgets" where it was after a call. I'm back with Mortplayer (black glass skin) which I last used ~2 years ago on my Axim x51v. It's not as light on RAM as Pocketmusic, but it isn't forgetful either and it still uses up far less RAM than Core.

I don't know about all, but Mortplayer, AudioManager, CorePlayer, PocketPlayer, and PocketMusic all do and the first 2 are free as well as a basic version of PocketMusic. With BT stereo, I don't even need to slave a button to blank the screen. Just hit the power button, the screen blanks and the sound keeps coming.
