Re: help! dead screen?!
Your phone is not bricked, this is probably a bad connection between the screen and the rest of the device, this is a manufacturers defect and should be covered by warranty, call up your provider, and they will guide you through getting this worked out.

Re: help! dead screen?!
Yeah, thankfully I was able to use SOTI pocket controller, which is similar, to get everything backed up... that way I could stick a stock Verizon ROM back on it. Going to take it in to verizon today and hopefully get something accomplished. Wish me luck!

Re: help! dead screen?!
i had the same problem on one of the moguls i had. it started when i flip the keyboard open and close. its like the screen is on but no video. i opened it up and notice a bad design in the phone. basically the ribbon video cable rubs against the sharp piece of metal and wears out the video cable whenever you would flip the keyboard in and out. i modified 4 of the moguls i had on hand and put a piece of tape over the metal to prevent the ribbon cable rub directly against the metal in the phone. i bought 4 moguls (one for me, another for the g/f, dad and my brother).
