Re: WM6.1 Official Update Scheduled in July

Though most Official ROMs have more bugs than the cooked ROMs, the official ones generally have enhancements to them that make cooked ROMs even better. Thats the only reason I look forward to new Sprint ROMs.

PTT would be interesting. I've often wondered why the PDAs dont come with it. As far as I know, Sprint's PTT simply uses a data packet to send the message, hence why its slower than Nextel, well, I know it was slower, I assume it still is.

Re: WM6.1 Official Update Scheduled in July

Sorry guys, I re-read my info and it's not Direct connect, it's Direct Push Technology Enhancements for Exchange---Redesigned synchronization acrchitecture that reduces bandwith usage by 60 percent and improves battery life by up to 33 percent with Microsoft Exchange server 2007 only.

But Sprint will be coming out with new Qchat PDA phones this year, the curve was suppose to have it. Nothing with Windows mobile yet tho.

Instinct will be running under $200 with new act/qual upgrade. It has GPS/Rev A. But samsung's OS. My mogul can do more as of this moment, but the instinct will be a great phone to add to Sprint's line up.

Re: WM6.1 Official Update Scheduled in July

That date is sad if its true i just read that windows 6.1 official update might

be out in a few days for the AT&T tilt/TyTn 2, So AT&T maybe deliver this

before sprint, Sprint sure is not doing enough to keep people staying with

them if you ask me with all the crap they are pulling they are just asking

people to leave which if iphone 2 looks good i am jumping out of the sprint

ship.

Isn't that zoom the same as we get in the cooked up ROMs from the leaked update?
I have to say it's not that great. After Safari came we expected MS to come out with something better not something this cheesy. it's a shame. What kind of inovation is this? it's not even that user friendly.
I'm not impressed. Can no one come close to Safari? The best I've seen is Picsel Browser, but that kind of disappeared. no updates. and the version I have is not able to download anyting. So it's just good for viewing things.
