File Encryption feature for Mogul/WM

Helppppp!! What happen was...... While having the feature enabled (file encrption) I backed up my phone on my storage card. I was upgrading to the newest ROM for Mogul. When I successfully upgraded I tried to restore everything that was backed-up, but wasnt allowed, due to the encrption. Does anybody know how to retrieve any data that was in encrpted when file that was inserted into the storage card?

long story short, there is no way to decrypt it.

Your phone creates a unique key for both the card and the phone when the encryption option is activated. When you hard reset your phone, it created a new "key", and because the memory card is still coded to use that same unique key that your mogul created before the hard reset, it wont work with the new key. Many of us winmo users have learned this lesson the hard way. Sorry buddy, but the encrytion that windows mobile uses is a bit too complex for the average joe to decrypt

Thanks for the info...I'll just use GPS feature (Finally!) to try to forget about my loss man!
