Re: One drop of water killed my Mogul
It might start working again - just let it dry out for a day or two.
My brother dropped his Mogul in the toilet at my friend's gross apartment. He quickly snatched it out and let it dry for a couple days. He didn't want a replacement because he is down to his final insurance claim. Two days later he turns it on and it works. A couple of buttons didn't work, but he remapped them. Oh, and also, there was toilet water under the screen for a few weeks. Disgusting pee-tainted toilet water was visible under the screen and it still worked and he still used it. |

Re: One drop of water killed my Mogul
Saw this and had to say I got lucky just a few days ago. I was putting on a new screen protector to replace the one that was included with the phone. So I was trying to clean off all the adhesive from the old protector and was standing at the sink with the thinnest stream of water running possible (I just wanted a drop or two to put on a cleaning cloth). Well I fumbled it and my poor Mogul dropped right into the sink. After a moment of horror I grabbed it back out from under the stream of water. I think I got really lucky here because when the phone hit the sink, the back cover popped off and the battery fell out. So I dried it all off and popped the battery back in and voila! runs like a champ! Very scary for a half hour or so there though.

Re: One drop of water killed my Mogul
Hey mine did the same thing... toilet. And that mogul been going for months. I quickly used my ol' lady's hair dryer and I've had no problems.
