Re: Mogul won't answer...
0 is the fastest time for the phone to notice a call... It will wake the radio up every 1.28 seconds to check if there is a new call, 1 sets it to 2.56, 2 sets it to 5.12 seconds. There is no reason 0 would cause this, I have used 0 before, and aside from horrible battery life the phone will notice calls very quickly this way.... I do agree that 1 is probably the best setting though, 0 drains a lot of battery life...

Re: Mogul won't answer...
Try answering using the left softkey instead of the talk button? My talk button is rather finnicky too but the left softkey should default to answer when the phone is ringing....

Re: Mogul won't answer...
Ive tried the answer soft key as well and same result...it doesnt want to pick up...I am getting ready to flash to no2chem's 5068 rom so we'll see if that fixes it.

Re: Mogul won't answer...
I tried everything suggested and nothing worked. Here’s what worked for me:
I disabled MS Voice Command (Start => Settings => uncheck “enabled”) I’m at 100% when I also use the left softkey to answer the phone instead of the talk button. I’m using No2Chem 5067 rom. |

Re: Mogul won't answer...
I am using No2Chem 5067, have slot cycle @ 1, advanced config 2.02.1.0.0 and have this problem.
It will eventually answer but silences the phone after I initiate the answer. Then after 1-4 seconds (sometimes more) the phone call is answered - and I can tell because the phone app is displayed. Do I really have to rebuild a rom to fix this problem? Copy |

Re: Mogul won't answer...
This happens to me when I am running Windows Live Messenger. My phone is ringing, but Messenger doesn't want to give up the data connection. When I try to answer, I get silence, then the "you've been hung up on" tone, then my data disconnects and I can call them back. This is why I no longer run Windows Live Messenger unless I am on wifi. By the way, anyone know of a fix for this?

Re: Mogul won't answer...
I had the same problem. I know this thread is old, but it helped me. My Activesync was scheduled to check way too often. Scheduling it back freed up the data connection like others have mentioned. Thanks!

Re: Mogul won't answer...
Same issue on my mogul...
I do have S2u2 installed, no Adv config... So what was the fix? I tried ESPT but couldn't find cycle index... how do I get there? I notice though, that it does it less when I uninstall S2U2, then reinstall it fresh.... Update: nevermind- i found a link to show how to find the modem settings http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...r-pattern.html Last edited by montecristo1; 04-12-2009 at 07:57 PM. |
