Wifi ON but won't saerch Access point..Help...:(

don't know about reg settings but under start/settings/connections/wireless lan/power mode the default is "best battery" and i always have trouble with that, I actually have it set to "best performance"

Yes, just export it to a file, I just want to know the default settings for all...BUT..it will be better just to export all registry entries. So I could compare it one by one. Tough job comparing it all, but better than having a non working wi-fi.


Anyway, I know that if you turn off the radio, you won't be able to turn ON wifi. But will it be the same story if the RADIO is ON but doesn't locked to any carrier, I mean if it doesn't lock to any carrier you still CAN turn on wi-fi but it won't search for access points ? Since I live in different country, have UNLOCKED the mogul, but haven't activate it with any carrier in my country...

wifi will work regardless of the radio. i use to turn my radio off and surf the internet over wifi all the time. i was also able to surf with the radio on, it didnt really matter

Peep - I can confirm that when I receive a text the wifi will then work if I switch it on after receiving the text...it's very weird.

hmm...this is a very strange problem...maybe there's some differences in mogul's hardware design. Some people have this problem, some don't...??

some one in another thread pointed towards the router having incompatibilities with the titans wifi adapter, and i can confirm this (sorta). i can connect to many wifi sources just not at home using a cisco based router (linksys wrt54g, or wrt100). i have tried 2 different wrt54g's, so its not hardware, but i dont know enough about the advanced configuration of a router to know what to change in the settings. by advanced i literally mean the advanced tab in the router setup is the only one i dont know somthing about... but i dont even kow if adjusting those settings will do anything, they are just the only settings i dont know anything about.

come on keep this topic up, i too need those oem registry settings for the wifi. i can confirm also that when i do get a text i could connect to the wifi but it doesnt last long, i have the linksys router as well.

that happends to me 3 but I ran a memaid cleaner and soft reset then it will start working even on the new rom 356

I'm having the exact same issue as the OP. Weird, and I can't figure out what's going on. It's like Wifi is on but won't look for networks.
