Task manager

I having a lil problem with my task manager. Seems as though its not storing the programs i exit from. For example i in the internet and i exit out of it. Going into the task manager its not there. So i have to reconnect again. Also playing music i could exit out of the music player and it will still play music until i go into task manager and exit out of there to. Now as soon as i exit out of the music program the music goes off.

Re: Task manager

This seems to be pretty common for WM 6.1. I had to downgrade to a cleaned version of WM 6.0. If you're running any custom roms you'll see this issue.

Re: Task manager

My experience has been with HTC task manager, WKTask, Magic button. The memory management in 6.1 is too aggressive IMHO.

Re: Task manager

for example on the HTC Task Manager
click the dropdown, then click the wrench (settings)
select Button tab, and you have

Enable the "X" button to end running programs (w/ 2 options)
1) end programs by tapping "X"
or
2) end programs by tapping and holding "X"

If this is the case, either uncheck the enable option, or select option 2
