phone freezes when searching for beam partnering?

updated my refurb to 3.35 and dcd's 3.0.4 rom yesterday, and i tried to beam a file today and it froze upon searching. i checked some registry settings and everything looked fine. i soft-resetted, and i tried 3 or 4 more times, and it froze every time

is anyone freezing when searching for beam partnering?

If you have DCD's 3.0.4 kitchen then you already have been to the thread explaining the IR fix. I have no problems "beaming" files, as my laptop has bluetooth and I set it to receive, then beam and it works as always. I have no device to test the IR right now, so i can not speak on that subject. Search here or XDA, I am sure you can find some answers.

Double check the OBEX reg entry and then post 3 of DCD's 3.0.4 I think has the reg string for the IR port fix.

haha ive read every thread pertaining to the IR fixes, but no one has posted problems with it freezing upon searching. and of course it wont let me bluetooth and files so im stuck there too. ohh well. my lifes over
