If you have DCD's 3.0.4 kitchen then you already have been to the thread explaining the IR fix. I have no problems "beaming" files, as my laptop has bluetooth and I set it to receive, then beam and it works as always. I have no device to test the IR right now, so i can not speak on that subject. Search here or XDA, I am sure you can find some answers.

Double check the OBEX reg entry and then post 3 of DCD's 3.0.4 I think has the reg string for the IR port fix.
