HELP!!! n00b to cell phones and having a major issue with my Mogul

I just tried to put the rev-a update on my sprint mogul and during the ROM update i got this error message....ERROR [328]: INVALID COMMAND

i downloaded the rom right from HTC and now my phone wont leave the 3 color screen....what do i do?!?!?!? i tried searching for this error message and didnt see anything and i also read the read me file and it said nothing about this error message....please help me out!!! i have AIM please feel free to im me my screen name is mrfatride

try reflashing the rom

it also appears to have no ROM on it anymore when i try to run the rom update for the newest update it says From: (blank) To Image Version : 3.35.651.2...i hit continue and it will go from the 3 color screen to the grey screen with the percentage meter on it that the display goes dark and the red light flashes then the error message pops up

Hard reset...try again..

It's done. I don't know anybody who has brought it back from that. You may have luck trying to reflash it, but I'll bet you'll have to go swap it at a service center.

how would i go about reflashing it? i just tried the hard reset and it didnt do anything...i do not understand where i went wrong either....

I don't think that you necessarily did anything wrong. I had a customer who bought a mogul, took it home, attempted to put the new rom in it, just like i told him to do and he came back two hours later with the 3 color bars. I called over to a tech and they said it was toasted and had to swap it out. I'm not sure what exactly causes it.

did he happen to use a vista computer when the rom crashed?
