US Cellular and GPS

I received this from HTC about the USCellular updated ROM (below).

If anyone can figure out the needed mods to make the updated ROM work with USCellular a case of your favorite beverage is on me.

Knowing USCell over the last several years they will NOT be releasing an update. They too marketed this phone as having GPS and I point that out to them when I contact them.

Andrew, currently there are no updates for the USCellular PPC6800. Any updates for this device is released only on the discretion of USCellular. Please do not use any update not intended for your USCellular PPC6800 on this device, as you may irrevocably damage your device.
