Re: Turning off voice calls while using WMwifirouter?
Just remembered, I would need some heavier upload speeds as well- with evdo rev a, I'm only hitting 300-400k upload speed... on a good day!!!
Maybe that will be enough, who knows. I'll let you all know how it goes! |

Re: Turning off voice calls while using WMwifirouter?
Most video conferencing only requires 100-200K upload as that is standard for cable and DSL companies, the majority of commuting exployee's connections. I know we use Live Meeting at my office and I have seen good video and audio feeds from the sales reps with DSL that limits them to about 128k upload speeds.
I would suggest that you try it first, before your meeting, to see how your connection works.

Re: Turning off voice calls while using WMwifirouter?
Will do, but the whole thing is not viable unless I can disable incoming calls during the teleconference. I cannot afford to be disconnected in the middle of a sentence -Especially as the "tech guy"

Re: Turning off voice calls while using WMwifirouter?
While teathering I don't get kicked off unless I actually answer the incoming call... Just let the calls go to voicemail... As others have said though, test this first...

Re: Turning off voice calls while using WMwifirouter?
