Setting Ringtones for text messages

Use a shorter ringtone. Google for mptrim and cut your MP3's down to 4 or 5 second clips for texts/voicemails, etc.

A tip on mptrim, when you use it, it cuts from before the part you want and after, so you need to find the point in the song where you want, and cut off time before there.

If the part you want from your mp3 starts 15 seconds into the song, you would cut 15 seconds away. Then if you want the clip to be 5 seconds long, you would cut away until there's only 5 seconds left.

This should all make sense once you see the program.
