i was also thinking the same thing.
The mogul's gps sensitivity might be too weak.
Thre previous version of the mogul gave you the option to add an external antennae. I don't think our's have this option??

what "previous" version?
I know the apache has jacks under the cover for wifi and i assume bluetooth. I've not taken apart a mogul yet to see. (been thinking about rigging up a mogul in the dash with external antenna's, hopefully ~100 feet bluetooth headset...)
