Re: Programs I can remove

Hi, I was about to post a similar question when i saw this post. I do have a new-user question though--in that, how DO I exactly go about uninstalling these unnecessary apps? I tried to find a way to uninstall it using ActiveSync's built in Add/Remove Programs, but I couldn't find any of these programs listed. Is there a specific interface I go through? Or do I just delete it from the Program Files folder? Also, I wanted to uninstall TeleNav, but was wondering if this might render my phone un-GPSable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.

Re: Programs I can remove

most of the programs are under settings\system\remove programs.

If they are not there and you havent played with you phone alot I would do a hard reset and then on the initial boot when it gets to the today screen it will say Customizing in 3 seconds. Soft reset before that happens and none of the sprint crap will be installed.
On the GPS question, I dont see how that would mess it up. I used telenav a while ago and didnt like it. I use iGo8 now and love it. I like it better than Garmin and TomTom just because they have the maps for different states seperate so I dont have to buy a bigger SD card. Garmin and TomTom only have a map of the whole US and its like 3GB or something like that.

Hope that sheds some light on it for you.
