Ive been agonizing over changing the esn on a v9m to replace my aging a900 but now ill jsut put the v9m on my account and change my mogul.

Also, is this a software solution? will flashing a new rom revert the changes made to the esn?

Update: so i tried it out and i wasnt able to connect to my phone with mtty. tried it on a non vista 64-bit system and it worked fine. entered the commands, wasnt able to enter rtask c but i launched back into it and ran it after entering the 00000000 CID. booted up cdma workshop and everything went fine; i do, however, have a question.

"MIN / MDN / SID / NID / PRL "

what are these? I know PRL and I have my MDN written down somewhere but how can i find the rest of these ? do i even need to plug them back in if the phone was previously active on my account? (mogul is primary phone, cloning to v9m)

Hey guys i hope someone can help. i have the verizon vx6800 and i want to SuperCID it. i unlocked it and now it has the Olipro 2.40 on it. when i connect it to mtty i did the first step which is (rtask a) and (echo_on) and when i do (readCID) it gives me VZW__001. but i keep trying to do (writeCID 00000000) and it never works cuz when i do readCID it keeps giving me the VZW__001.

what Should i do ??????????????

i'm stuck in cdma workshop. i don't know what com port to connect to. i tried all of it and they dont work. im sure i loaded the drivers correctly but now i'm questioning it. is there a way for me to check if i loaded right drivers? what is it called under device manager?

I am in the same boat, I have gotten to the point of adding all o's for the cid but i cant connect in cdma workshop to change e*n. I really could use some help as well as the user above.

To connect CDMA Workshop, u first have to put it in DMRouter mode. Dial ##3424#, then connect it via usb
