At this point we need to differentiate between OWA, OMA, and Activesync. OWA (Outlook Web Access....think webmail) gives users the ability to access their inbox from computers via a web browser, such as your home computer. OMA (Outlook Mobile Access) is similar to OWA except formated for a PDA/Mobile phone browser. Activesync would allow your wifes PDA to sync with the server directly. I don't know a lot about exchange, but I am going to take a wild guess and say that if you try to browse to the OMA address on the Mogul and it isn't working then it's either not set up on the server or you don't have the cerficate needed. The school's IT department is the only people who can resolve this.

If you want Activesync access then you will need to know the Activesync server address, and domain. This service needs to be set up server side and could require a certificate as well.

I hope this information is helpful to you. My best advice would to be to kindly contact the districts IT department. I would also ask that you understand that the IT department might be perfectly competent and capable of setting these services up, but unable to do so because of management and/or security policy.
