Re: Vote for Best GPS Software (more complete poll)

I like ms live search. FREE, quick and easy to input addresses , voice recognized, easy to find catagorized, (gas, movie, traffic, etc.) Needs on screen mph, time and I would be real happy with it. Google maps just not as user friendly. I can't easily input address so i havent even used it from there. Too much time to enter the info.

google maps. simple easy to use, I also use gpstoday from geoterrestrial. awsome today app shows current heading, Speed, and address of current location. also option to show closest contact. can't wait till they add geo tracking for photo tags and dirfection functions.

Re: Vote for Best GPS Software (more complete poll)

I've used iGuidance 4, Tomtom 6, and Garmin. Garmin has as good of an interface as Tomtom, with better maps (navteq) than tomtom (telenav). There is no text to speech, but the better interface is more important to me. Garmin also includes free traffic, fuel prices, and POIs are very complete.

Re: Vote for Best GPS Software (more complete poll)

I think a few more should be added to the survey. At least add Tele-Nav or Sprint's version, Sprint Navigation. I also like Mobium. In my opinion, the maps on Mobium are a little better and the navigation itself is great. It's the same price as Sprint Navigation.

Re: Vote for Best GPS Software (more complete poll)

Maybe some of you Navigation gurus can answer this question...

I'm a real estate agent, and when i'm showing properties, I usually have a list of about 15 homes in my GPS... I always just add them as favorites, then navigate to whichever one we plan to go to next.

My question is.. do any GPS programs have the abilty to create waypoints, then have the program direct you to the nearest waypoint intuitively?

The ones I've used allow you to create waypoints, but if you don't input them in order, the software has you backtracking all over the place... I want the software to prioritize them for me.

Any help?

From the CoPilot Live page:

- Enter up to 10 addresses in one trip

- Trip Optimization for the most efficient route

- Calculates multi-stop trips in seconds

http://www.alk.com/copilot/

Note that this is NOT a recommendation. I have no experience with this product.
