Re: Sprint Threaded SMS
If you installed it by cab, you can remove it the same way you do any other application. Just go to the remove programs section of your settings and uninstall it.

Oh well I am gonna do the new ROM on monday anyway so I will have to reload everything then. |

Besides a hard reset, I recommend trying the newest version of SK Tools, it manages installed apps on the device.

Re: Sprint Threaded SMS
So I have been using this since I got my Mogul this summer, and every once in a while it does act funny. Like when I receive a text, 4 times now it has started to vibrate but has not stopped. A soft reset was the only way I found to stop it. Problem is after the last time this happened, I haven't been able to open the SMS app anymore. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you go with a hard reset and plan on reinstalling, make sure you have the latest version. I would suggest the version that Cody has put together which uses files from a WM6 Treo 750 and it designed to work best with newer devices like the Mogul. I can't give you a link to it, but I would suggest you look over at the Mogul subforum at wmexperts.com ![]() Before installing, delete ALL text messages from the standard text messaging app (inbox, sent, draft, etc). Then install the version I mentioned above and reboot. That's the best advice I can give you to keep it running correctly. |

Re: Sprint Threaded SMS
Yeah, the only way to get the SMS app to work again was to do a restore from SPB Backup. Anyhow, I installed the new ROM. And that was the version of SMS I was using, Cody's ripped from a 750w WM6 device for newer AKU's. Is it dated july 28 or 29, 2007? It had the same date as the one I found on WMexperts and treocentral. It still opened up randomly and it doesn't seem to like HTC Home. Have any fixes for that been developed? Thanks.
