Cant send email using wifi only using sprint

I sorta have that issue. I have my work email set up on my home computer and in the phone. If I try to send an email it won't send from my home computer but I can't receive. I thought that it was because I was using outlook 2007. I noticed the same thing when I have my phone connected to wifi but it sends when I connect to sprint. Leads me to believe it's a firewall issue somewhere in my home network.
