What features do you want to see in the Mogul 2?

Just for kicks to see what everyone else is looking for since it will be another 2 years before sprint even considers it.

Windows Mobile 7
256-512MB RAM (just because they screwed us bad this time)
EVDO Rev B
VGA Screen
2GB internal Memory
Multi-touch screen (not plastic)
10 hour talk time
802.11 N
Slide out qwerty (I wouldnt trade off the keyboard)
5 megapixel camera

yeah i doubt any of this will happen. If we are lucky they might give us 128mb when all the other phones get 256, and they might boost the camera up to 2.5megapixels and it might be a little thinner.

and slide out keybord. i love my touchscreen, but i need a slide out keyboard. won't buy a phone without one.

a raised/flush screen would also be nice.

802.11n? For what? There would be nothing worth streaming that fast. The phone won't have an HD screen and with a limit of 2GB storage, data transfers would be negligibly faster.

• 1GHZ mobile processor (it already exists)
• VGA resolution
• Accelerated DirectDraw/OpenGL video drivers
• Whatever EVDO rev or upgrade is needed so we can use data and voice at the same time.
• Gaming D-Pad/button layout (closet I've seen/liked was Casiopeia E-125 layout)
• Non buggy phone functions
• Better Battery life
• A new HTC Touch version (obviously without keyboard), but with all the above features (WiFi!)

PocketPC hardware has been stagnant for too long. My Dell 3+ year old Dell Axim is more powerful than my Mogul.

Take the Mogul now and add on an extra 256MB ram, multitouch, that tilt sensor thingy, remove the infrared, use a higher quality speaker, and double the capacity of the battery. That is all I need in a phone.

Forget the internal storage. Remember, they add more internal storage, the price of the phone flies up and other crap gets cut. External storage is so cheap right now, its ridiculous. And its nearly impossible to add a giant screen, tons of internal memory, tons of RAM, and a hell of a lot faster processor, and get BETTER battery life. We have to try and be realistic or why not just ask for a phone which is powered by dark energy?

Come to think of it, 2 years ago the 8125 was the new hotness.

This should definitely have at least:
1GB RAM
32-64 GB Storage (iPhone already has 16 and the touch has 32)
At least 1.5GHz dual core (If they already have 1GHz Moore's law says that it should be 2GHz in 2 years and there is already a sort of dual core in the Mogul)
SIM slot
World Phone Radios

Ok here is the thing. If it was 2 years we better DOUBLE what we want because by then windows Mobile 9 or whatever will take 3 times the memory....

Linux would be cool, but I like the draw of having the most popular form of "smartphone" OS, because there are thousands of applications for it and a bevy of options.

Why can't people that work for HTC think like you can?! Oh and btw, is there talks or rumors or fake pix for a replacement for the mogul?
