Re: can anyone get me a msid?
Sorry I cannot help, see PM. No access to any systems as I am corporate.
Posted here to prevent others from asking in the future, although unlikely to stop them.

Re: can anyone get me a msid?
if you or someone else needs it, call sprint beforehand and tell them you are a developer or tell them you need your phone reprogrammed and write the msid down.

Re: can anyone get me a msid?
I know about calling them for it...wasn't my line was a friend...usually i just run my msl grabbed.then write them down myself....but he dropped it and took off.....I should of know then something was up.lol....its his home line too....when i went to start it he forgot to tell me he was stuck on radio splash screen...so i had no choice but to flash it...got the msl...but mdn wasnt same ive seen some that are...i do like 5 moguls a week...modding them out lol....my mistake for thinking my friend had brains...lol.. thankfully another friend happened to be working at a kiosk. But your saying say im a developer and that cs would just hand me that info?i mean i knew msl mdn and owners info except pin...i just didn't think they hand it to joe smo. Without knowing somebody....

Re: can anyone get me a msid?
They used to be, but more often than not anymore they are different.
The MSID is used to define the local calling area for the phone, down to neighborhood level. The phone number may be out of a different area within the same local exchange but not local neighborhood. Sprint only has certain prefixes so they use others to define the local area. Or if one local area is out of sprint nums then a nearby area num will be used and given a local MSID. MSID's can be repeated without the end user knowing any wiser, MDN's cannot for obvious reasons. |
