i dunno about the kind of image they sell, but they should never make a 2nd gen iphone... it'll only be used for the same purpose as above. lol.

I feel your pain...or frustration....Unfortunatly The Mogul and Pocket PC's in general don't have all the nice fancy shmancy commercials, showing all the stuff it can do...so the average person doesn't know that I can stream youtube right to my phone...or that I get Full screen caller ID pictures, so when they ask me "is that an IPhone?" I smile and say no its better then the Iphone...and I don't show them a mutha effin thing...idiots!!!!!

I am going to completely honest here. I nearly purchased an Ipod instead of my mogul. I was in the Apple Store across the street from where I work and was about to pull the trigger. My Cousin has one and loves it. I played with it for several hours and since I had never owned a PPC since the original TMobile Pocket PC which was a pile of crap I really had no idea what i was even missing. I made a smart choice and took the Mogul and Sprint for a test drive and never looked back.

Why arent more people aware of how great ppc's are? Its about image. It goes to the same issue we are having with drivers and what not. Many people think pocket pc = business user. There isnt any panache to owning a pocket pc. Everyone that I show my mogul and show what it can do wants one. There is a reason for that. They rock. Its M$, HTC, Sprint all of thier faults for not showing that it is "cool" or "hip".

I will not bash Apple as a happy (until the last month) shareholder. I my portfolio loves droves of mindless people wanting what is cool. I also wont bash apple because they do in fact make quality products. The Iphone has tons of potential. If they throw a 3G radio on it. Open it up for development hey the sky would be the limit. There is a reason so many IPhone themes are floating around out there. I love my Ipods. I have used others but always end up with Ipods cause they are great.

I dont see why people get so incenced about IPhones or apple in general. They are pushing the bar. I think all of you recognize how stagnant WindowsCE/PocketPC/Mobile has really been for a long time because there was really nothing forcing it to innovate. RIM is guilty too. But along comes the iPhone and now everyone has to step up thier games and innovate.

The iPhone is good for Windows Mobile.

Do like I do just show them how cool your phone is when it can tell them what song is on the radio and then turn around and download a torrent or Show them that your phone can do everything an iphone can do and with much faster internet. I have converted so many people that just didnt know that Pocket Pcs did what they did.

I agree with Erwin. It is pretty good at what it does. But is it truly the best phone out there? It depends who you ask. If you listen to my son (age 14), he says it is hands down the best but since I won't buy him one he'll never know. If you ask most of us in this forum, we would say that the Titan is better suited for those that like to make some significant mods and also tie it into our corporate infrastructure.

I don't get asked very often whether my Titan is an iPhone since I have the keyboard slid out most of the time. But I could see where it could be annoying. On the other hand, its a great opportunity to give someone the pros and cons of owning a true phone or an IPod on steriods. lol

If you notice Microsoft just Purchased Danger too. I dont know how many of you have owned a Sidekick but they were really the ipod before the ipod except without the innovation. The Danger acquisition would probably not have occurred without Ipod. There are some things that Sidekicks do very very well. Instant messaging being the main thing. I really do not use my Mogul for IMs at all but I used my sidekick constantly because it was to tightly integrated and easy to use. Microsoft will hopefully roll some of the things Danger does well into making WM even better at some of the "cool factor" things.

I tell them "Why yes it is." I show them all the cool features like the slide out keyboard, all the buttons, yahoo go, Microsoft's Mobile Office!. I would love to be at At&t when they ask for the iPhone with the slide out keyboard and Microsoft's Mobile Office, the dumbfounded look on the CS's reps face might actually change.
