yes is there a way i can disable it in wm6.1?

This is unknown right now as this is still a relatively new rom, (and still unofficial at that!) we know right now that there is no menu setting that lets you toggle it on or off, but that's not to say there is a regedit or tweak that can be exploited... time will tell...

"SMSAvailable"=dword:1

0=old style
1=threaded style

**EDIT**

There is a cab floating around XDA that will disable it for you if you don't have a reg. editor.
