I configured my PC to send a message to #@pm.sprint.com with the Reply-to address as my #@pm.sprint.com and I was able to successfully send MMS. I also tried setting my Reply-to address as my #@messaging.sprintpcs.com and was able to send and receive txt msgs.

So in a nutshell...

You cannot send an email from your phone to any account with the Reply-to address with any part of sprint in the address or it will be blocked/dropped/rejected before it leaves the Sprint network.

My next test...when I get some more free time...is to try and configure SendMail, and SMTP server, to replace my reply-to address with my sprint pm address once it leaves the sprint network. This should resolve the issue...but its a lot of work and will only work for users I can configure. I think I might just live with MMS responses coming to my Exchange E-Mail account.
I don't understand how that is possible. When sending an email out, it is never in the Sprint network. The only thing a reply-to should do is add a line or 2 in the header portion of the email. An outgoing email on a phone does have a different header than a PC one, so perhaps the incoming SPAM filters simply do not accept a reply-to line within the mobile header protocol.
Another reason I say this is that if a vzw user texts my email address which automatically forwards it to my sprint messaging address, it gets blocked. I can give you some more detailed failure codes, PM me if you want them. This could be because he has a mobile protocol and when emails are forwarded, more or less they are just emailed again with the original reply-to address.
SendMail should still be able to fix that at least on one end, as it changes the header when redirecting the mail. Let us know how that goes.
Unforunately although I know what SendMail does in principle, I've never used it, and it would be a serious pain in the a$$ to learn how.
One thing I don't know about is if the forwarding is set up on a PC (versus the email account itself) if it modifies the headers at all. I doubt it, so I don't think will fix it. Keep us posted.
