I had the same thing happen to me when the 6600 first came out. I kept on trying to return the 2nd 6600 and then finally gave up after three or four times when nothing came of it each time. I kept on checking my bill and they never charged me. Now my 85 year old Grandma has one with nearly every solitare came available on it and my wife has the other one she uses for games and GPS.....both of then are not active on the Sprint network and just being used as big screen gaming PDAs.

nah man... they just dropped the ball on my order.....

it's no excuse for that because me and my girl ordered phones at the same time ( same retentions rep ) and she got hers Wednesday.....

I'm a little less irritated now though, cause I know I should have it later this afternoon... but again there's no excuse... and I never received any thing from Sprint about my order not going thru... if I didn't call my order would've stayed half done till my contract was up....lol

Well awesome to hear you got your phone coming and you are happy with your choice. I honestly think you will be I love this phone! Asking what programs and phone is best really is the same as people asking me what dirt bike is best. You will develop your own taste for you phone and not use tons of things others swear by and use ones others just hate. After you install everything under the sun spend 3 weeks of headaches losing all your info on the phone a few times wondering why things are conflicting you will begin to get an idea of what you like.

So don’t be afraid and just put anything on and if you don’t like it reset the phone! Just take your time on ROM flashing. Me personally I have decided what I like but I don’t like the way it unfolds so I am putting my own ROM together to be what I want and what I want only. I like resco and s2us some dialers. I like flashy functionality.

A good rule of thumb is to AVOID ALL HTC software at all costs.

I recomend Spb products for functionality and your choice of select apps.

i got it....lol actually called ups and they set up a meeting place with the driver along another stop not far from my house...lol

had a long wait and a even longer time getting started...lol

internet just started working... apparently they never started my vision pack when i switched service to the phone...lol

as soon as I get my contacts in and I do a back up... i'm starting on my hacking....lol

quick menu... works cool, but loads up saying a DLL file is missing...lol

pocket cm... gonna un-install though

and best of all htc audio manager......... but I have no music at all....lol
