well hopefully I won't be stock for long.... I'm looking to start modding over the weekend.... hopefully I won't destroy my phone...

but hey if I can mod my psp, i'm sure my phone shouldn't be to hard....lol

random question: does a modded psp still work with a ps3?

Alright, so this thread makes me feel a lot better about being on this site. I've done mods to my 6800 for a few months, but just found this site last month and trying to keep up with all the info is a task. These links that you guys are providing are great and my experiences with most of the software listed has been great.

Spb Pocket Plus, Backup, PhoneSuite, Weather
Ultimate Launcher
And the 3.16 GPS has been working great for me, and I learned it all from you guys.

yeah i installed the cab and in less then five minutes was hooked up to my phone as a wifi modem. just have turn on your wifi on the phone and then run the program have not put it throught the paces yet but got a great signal at about 15 feet away.

well the UPS guy came to another house on the block, but not to me....lol

So of course by 5pm I'm heated.. so I call sprint and the guy tells me my order was canceled ???? So of course I ask " By Who " and that's when he tranfers me to accounts.... and guess what....... they say even dumber sh*t..... they tell me that my order was: processed, then cancelled , then half processed......

If your reading this I'm sure this doesn't make sense to you, because it damn sure didn't make sense to me.....

Anyway after 4 calls and about 2 hours hearing excuses, and a hour and 1/2 break to calm down... someone finally acts like they know what they're doing at sprint and Completes my order......

and when I say complete I mean, "SHIP MY PHONE" because they collected their money from me but never processed my order to be shipped...

anyway I'm pissed... my girls phone came today... and mine is being shipped Next day air ( so I should have by Friday, cause they didn't complete my order till around 9pm ).

Honestly I lost some of the excitement that was building up from hearing about all the great mods and hacks......

They accepted my money on Saturday.... but never shipped my phone... what kind of Sh*t is that?????????

for one..... yeah those cases/sleeves look pretty nice...

and two.... the PSP should work fine with your PS3... the only thing that modding really effects is bypassing the disc deck and pulling straight from the memory card...

just make sure your firmware supports remote play... I'm a 3.52 m33-4 and I know that supports remote play....

Sorry to hear about Sprints bs..Im in the same boat, my 6800 should be here tomorrow and I'm stoked..Ive been following the thread and can't believe all of the mods you can do..Can you overclock these??

yeah i got one of those.and personally i hated it.but its just a preference thing.it gave my phone an extra gap and made noise when i opened/closed it.i just went to sieldzone and got a full body skin.i did like the feel of that case but overall the invisibleshield was the better choice for me.
