Not a hack just an app... not sure if IM+ is freeware or not but my favorite free ones are OctroTalk and WebMessenger. OctroTalk is less buggy IMO but WebMessenger does a better job of maintaining your connection and automatically reconnecting if you get disconnected.

things i want, but still haven't done:
a custom lightweight kitchen w new radio/gps function


i also highly recommend an application like orb, if you want to watch/listen to your media stored on your pc, on your phone. it's wicked cool

and, don't forget to go through and mess with a lot of registry 'tweaks', once you get a registry editor. you'll be able to modulate a lot of the characteristics that can make your phone take better pictures, answer the phone faster, blah blah blah)

I second orb. Its definitely the BEST BEST BEST BEST way to get content from your comp to your phone. Especially if there are, lets say for instance, certain 'files' you don't want to carry on your memory card. (or don't have room for)

the WMwifirouter this thing is awsome it blows pda net out. pdanet limits it to 2.4 mb connection this wifi deal is full sprint speed. thank you for the link

yeah I found that last night....can I run it stock, or do I have to starting modding before I can take advantage of it?

you can start off stock if ya want, but unless you're looking for a good PIM backup manager, either HTC backup or sunnysoft backup manager are by far the best choices. i run sunnysoft and strongly recommend it to ya. although i live about 78 miles northeast of philly, i do go there occasionally... love the birthplace of hardcore.
