Re: Rev A issue
Easiest/most accurate way is to tether to a computer and test your upload and download speeds. If your upload is above, say 200 kbps, you can be sure you are using Rev A. You won't see much of a difference just browsing from your phone, as things like the rendering speed of your browser play a big part in the perceived speed of your experience. Also, it isn't always going to be a night and day difference. You can be using Rev A but still get low speeds if you are in an area with heavy data traffic. All in all it is defintely a nice boost though.

Re: Rev A issue
Is there a way to check from the phone with/out tethering?
I tried the method mentioned here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ight=tethering and had no luck. Can't find anywhere under connections where it says phone aqs modem. |

Re: Rev A issue
Use http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ instead. You have to have Flash Player 7 installed though. I would attach the CAB but Im at work right now. It will test your upload which is the best indicator anyway. EVDO Rev0 does not go too far beyond 80kbps up!

Re: Rev A issue
Wow! That is like 1X speed. I'd try testing a few more times, and in different areas. If you're still getting speeds that low, you might want to check that you don't have your phone set to 1X only:
