Re: Rev A issue

I did the test using speakeasy and the following result was acheived:

Download - 505k
Upload - 75k

Pretty good considering that I'm using my PPC. The GPS works great on it.

Re: Rev A issue

Second try was 750 down and 150 up. I think that it depends on the server that you are connecting to when doing the test.

Re: Rev A issue

If you're using Rev. A, you should be able to use your data connection during a voice call. What I did to test is make a call, and while talking, try and open IE or Google Maps. If it complains about no data connection, you're not using Rev. A. I think it helps eliminate the guessing of slow connection, peak times, etc etc.

Hope this helps!

Re: Rev A issue

I think the folks with upload speeds under 150k are running on rev0, rev A mainly increases the upload speeds to around 500k on average and decreases latency. Those slow upload numbers indicate that you are not in a rev A area or the radio is not enabled for rev A.

Are you on Sprint and are you SURE about voice and data sessions at the same time?

I'm pretty sure RevA doesn't let you call and data at the same time, EVDV was suppose to but that never went through... Basically you can just tell by the ping and upld speed...If its greater than 120k or so then ur on Rev.A
